Norman Jacobs

Norman Jacobs first attended Summer School as a teenager and has been involved actively in a number of roles since then. Over the decades, he has met many inspiring musicians, innovative composers and made friendships with attendees and course participants. There’s really nothing quite like Summer School.

Outside Summer School, Norman works for a Conservation Trust and organises concerts on a weekly basis in a residential home. He is a Trustee for Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra and MOOT – music of our time. When not occupied musically, he enjoys walking in the countryside.

Norman is delighted to be Chief House Parent and looks forward to meeting friends old and new in this launch year!
